Chalet Etoile

Chalet Etoile is a brand new, large and luxurious chalet located in Chinaillon, the upper ski station of Le Grand Bornand in the French Alps. With magnificent uninterrupted views of the mountains and the pistes, Chalet Etoile is the perfect spot for a self catering family skiing holiday in the winter months. In the summer it is ideally placed for walking, mountain biking, climbing and the Tour de France!  It is very peaceful, yet close to all the amenities of a top resort. Le Grand Bornand is located in the heart of the Aravis chain of mountains, less than an hour's drive from Geneva Airport. 

Le Grand Bornand is a traditional French alpine village that has developed into a thriving modern ski resort, with over 90 km of downhill ski runs and 31 lifts.  Most of the skiing starts in the village of Chinaillon (1300m), where the chalet is situated.  The skiing is ideal for intermediate skiers, and for the more advanced it has one of the steepest black runs in Europe as well as great off piste skiing. Le Grand Bornand has an impressive snow record and is known for its “production of championship skiers” It is a beautiful place with fantastic skiing and just a fraction of the people and the queues that we have grown to expect when skiing.

Chalet Etoile is:

-  a 4/5 bedroom luxury self-catering chalet, sleeping 10-12 guests

-  10 minute walk from the pistes, or 3 minutes on the ski bus that stops outside the chalet

-  10 minute walk to shops and restaurants in the village of Chinaillon

-  4 bedrooms upstairs and a 5^th bed/TV room with en suite bathroom on the ground floor

 -  2 bathrooms with WC, 1 shower room, and 2 separate WC's

-  a large sitting room with  flat screen TV, surround sound,  quality CD player and ipod dock
